From our friendly staff to our new recreational kayaks and stand up paddleboards, Fontana Paddle is the best spot to enjoy being on Lake Geneva and experience all the lake has to offer. Our boats and paddleboards are easy to use and maneuver, even for beginners, and all ages are welcome to join the fun.
We offer a choice of boats, Sit-On-Top single person and tandem kayaks (these boats are easy to get into and out of and are very stable in the water) and traditional sit-in kayaks or paddleboards.Rentals include paddles and life jackets.

Required for those with no experience, our 30 minute Quick Start lesson offers an introduction to kayaking or paddleboarding. At just $5 per person, the orientation covers paddle, boat and life jacket fitting, basic paddle strokes and technique, information on how to paddle safely and avoid potential hazards. Our goal is to create enjoyable experiences so we go the extra mile to make sure you have the knowledge to comfortably travel on the water.

Purchase a 10 rental pass and save big! For $175 get 10 two-hour kayak* or stand up paddle board rentals. The equivalent number of single time rentals would cost you $300to $350, so the savings really add up.
PLEASE NOTE: Anyone who has not been consuming alcohol, and is willing to honor our checkout requirements, may rent a kayak or paddleboard from Fontana Paddle Co. Although everyone has the ability to rent boats from Fontana Paddle – for safety reasons, our staff reserves the right to refuse equipment rentals to any person at any time.
Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult while on the water. Children 9 years old and younger must paddle in a boat with an individual who is a minimum of 10 years old (if paddleboarding, youth may solo paddle but must be closely accompanied by an adult). Very young children can sit between their parent’s legs in a boat provided they are also wearing a life jacket. Hourly rentals require completion of our registration form, a current drivers license or passport and a signature on our waiver and release forms.
*Boards & Kayaks may not be offered during periods of heavy motorboat traffic or while high waves/winds are present.
